Peanut allergy is an increasingly common problem in children and leads to a great deal of parental anxiety and health care costs. Several factors could cause peanut allergies and there may be ways to actually prevent it. Two new studies have shown that eating peanuts and tree nuts regularly during pregnancy may prevent these allergies in children, and feeding peanuts to babies may also prevent the development of peanut allergy.
